2019年10月自考科目有：一般在3~5门左右，其中《中国近现代史纲要》、《马克思基本原理概论》、《英语二》三门课程为必考公共课，无论什么本科自考专业都需要考这三门的。一般自考理工类的专业还会增加如《高等数学》、《线性代数》等科目的考试，偏应用性质的专业还会开考《计算机应用基础》或者《管理系统中计算机应用》，公共课虽然不一定同所学专业有直接联系，但它是培养德智体全面发展人才，为进一步学习提供方法论的不可少的课程。
