定句型，连词成句
这个环节是成文的关键，一定要注意做到：
（1）选用比较有把握的词汇，用恰当的句型写出确切反映内容要求的句子。在熟悉的基础上，鼓励多用高级词汇和结构复杂的复杂句。如表达“为了……”时，可用inorder to do 或 so as todo.也可用sothat引导目的状语从句。
（2）写出的句子要达意，完整，语法正确，合乎习惯，特别是句式、谓语动词形式要有根有据。
（3）表达限定的内容有困难时，就要想到“AllroadsleadtoRome.”这句话，用变通的方法，以达到“曲径通幽”。如要译“他表哥外强中干”这样一句话，表达起来似乎很难，但我们完全可以通过学过的东西将这句话明白贴切地表达出来：Hiscousinlooks strong but in fact,he is rather weak.

单句写出后，根据短文的内容要求，确定先写什么，后写什么，按照表述内容的情节发展和实际需要，重新排列组合已写成的句子，划分必要的段落，一般分成三段。
即：文章的开头（Introduction）、文章的主体(Mainbody)和文章的结尾(Conclusion).这样写成文章的初稿。在连词成句的过程中，还要注意以下几点：
（1）句子或段落间的连接不仅仅是个语言问题，也是个逻辑思维方面的问题，这两者是不能分开的。能注意到这一点，你的文章就能达到条理清楚、层次分明的境界。

（3）仔细推敲在文章的哪些地方可用复杂句。切忌生搬硬套，给人一种为了用复杂句而用复杂句的感觉。要用得自然、得体。要顺应行文的需要，与整个文章浑然一体。
尽量使用我们熟悉的宾语从句、状语从句和定语从句。
检查，修改，定稿，誊写
检查修改是进一步减少疏漏提高质量的最后程序，这时要对照题目要求，认真检查以下几点：
（1）内容有无遗漏或误词，最好一一对应检查。

It was breezy yesterday and the weather was comfortable. My class teacher led our students go to plant trees near the suburbs. We took a bus there and then we started to work. 经常有同学问我，自考难不难，他能不能通过，我的回答永远是一句话：“这不好说。”，他们大多不明白其中的含义，我就会讲一个故事给他们，有一次阿凡提外出，碰到一个外乡人向他问路，问这里离县城有多远，他说大概5里路，外乡人又问，大概要走多久，他说我不知道，外乡人有点气恼，就说你知道有多远，怎么会不知道要走多久，阿凡提无奈的笑笑，那个人就走了，过了一会儿，阿凡提又追上来对他说，估计你用不了两个小时就能到了，那个人很奇怪问他刚才为什么不回答，阿凡提说，我不看你走路的速度，怎么知道你多久能走完哪？其实，自考也适用这个道理，自考能否通过，很大程度上并不取决于自考本身，而取决于你个人的情况，但人与人之间千差万别，在能否通过自考问题上能总结出的共同点，我看无外乎三怕三不怕。 怕怯 这是自考最怕的一点，时间长难度大，是自考的特点，有些同学考过一次之后，成绩不好，就萌生了怯意，有的避难就简，先考简单的，有些则放弃了学业。但大家要知道，自考自信是第一步，如果把考试比喻成行军打仗，怯考就等于是害怕对手，如果害怕对书，如何能战，战如何能胜？所以如果一个自考生什么时候怯考了，这恐怕就是自考的日子要到头了，所以很容易解释为什么很多同学第一次参加考试后就决定放弃，其实就是一种胆怯，害怕了考试，也有的同学是在多次受挫后产生了胆怯，道理都是一样的，不自信是考不了自考的。 怕懒 自考过程中，可能有千难万难，但这个懒字恐怕是最难过的一关，有些同学工作很忙，没时间参加辅导，但自己利用业余时间学习，考前请几天假集中复习，再去听个串讲，考得也非常不错，这就是一种取巧。但如果犯了懒字，要想过自考可就比登天还难了，因为即使你平常不去上课，考前那几天突击的时候，也是很耗心血的，多半同学是夜以继日的复习，每天只睡几个小时，大量的背记工作和练习，如果再赶上一次报几门，如果不是勤勉自律的人，实在是难以为坚。怕拖 自考的过程可能是一个很漫长的时间，少则二三载，多则六七载，自考专科的平均毕业年限为五年，但这并不意味着，你考五年，还能通过自考。自考其实是很怕拖的，时间一长，信心和耐力就会不足，很多人就会选择放弃，很少有人，在自考多年，尤其是某些科目已经考过多次之后，还能坚持。所以应该尽快完成学业，计划好自己的时间计划，严格按照时间计划执行，宁可一次少考几门，也要尽量没考必过，免得浪费时间和精力。 不怕差 基础差，其实自考人的普遍现象，很多人是没能走进高中的校门，甚至只是小学毕业，所以没必要害怕，更不要自卑。基础差，就补基础。英语和高数，通常是大家认为比较困难的，也是最需要基础的，有些同学的基础确实是离考核要求的难度差很多，所以是不能直接自学的，最好的方法是找一个好的辅导班，把基础的部分补补好，再开始自考的课程，这样才能跟其他同学有一样的起点，虽然这样可能看似耽误了一些时间，但其实是节省了很多时间，有些同学一个科目能考到三四次，这样至少也要两年，如果能拿出一个考期提前补补基础，下一个考期就有可能通过，这样足足节省了一半的时间。而且这类科目，基础不补，通过实在是堪忧。 不怕忙 工作忙，恐怕大家都是一样的，很多自考的同学都是业余学习，而且很多同学的工作时间弹性很大，经常要加班，这样就很少能有时间拿出来学习，其实这个问题不是太难解决，关键还是一个耐力的问题，时间就像海绵里的水，如果你去挤，总会有的。利用各种闲散时间是一个好办法，同学们可以利用坐车的时间听MP3背记单词，也可以利用十一长假突击复习。如果还是感觉时间紧张的话，可以减少报考的科目，虽然每次只报一两科，但做到逢必必过，到最后可能比那些一次报很多，通过率却不高的同学要早毕业。 不怕繁 自考的政策有些时候确实是很复杂的，从一开始如何选择专业，到如何报名考试，再到如何办理毕业，这一系列繁琐的过程确实有些让一些新同学摸不到头脑，其实老生又何尝不是这样过来的，就算走到最后毕业，填写个人鉴定和申请论文毕业考核等，还是让很多自考了5、6年的老生们稀里糊涂，而对应的秘诀只有四个字：“耐心勤快”，耐心很容易理解，这些手续，耐心也要办，不耐心也还是要办，不耐心只会导致更多的错误，耽误你的学业，另一个就是勤快，这个主要体现在“勤问”上，政策问题咨询自考办固然是最权威的，但众所周知自考办的电话是非常繁忙的，经常是打不通，所以有些时候，就需要到网上找一些前辈帮忙解释一下政策，比如四联自考论坛，其实有些时候，他们可能比自考办的老师更了解政策情况，因为自考办的老师是各自负责自己的工作，互相之间联系不多，你问的问题如果不归他负责，他给你的回答有可能是有错误的，但一般刚办完手续的前辈们的回答是比较准确，而且有条理的，原因就是他们完整的办完过一个流程。 说了这么多，其实无外乎想告诉大家，所有能解决的难题都是客观的，所有解决不了的难题，都是主观的，如果你自己真心想学，就一定能通过自考，在此我祝同学们，有志者事竟成。
